On this screen, we show the documents stored on your device, both files and folders. By using the Action Menu you can:
- Create new folders
- Delete files or folders
- Move or rename files and/or folders
On the top of the folder hierarchy it will say iTunes. If you tap on a folder it will display the folder name and show the contents of the folder.
You can view the contents of the iTunes folder in iTunes using Folder Sharing, which allows you to copy files into or out of the folder, or delete files. Due to restrictions in iTunes, sub-folders are not displayed.
The other information shown is the file size, file creation date, width, height, number of pages and whether the image is in 16 or 32 bit color. An icon of the first page is also shown.
Tap on the row to enter the Folder, or bring up a preview of the file.
Note:
Folders can only be deleted if they do not contain files. However, you can move folders containing files and other folders into another folder via the Action Menu.
To DELETE a file, swipe to delete. Or use the Action Menu.
